Efficient flying depends on accurate weight estimates, but passenger weight cannot be measured directly. With a multinational airline, we tested whether computer vision could improve these estimates without disrupting boarding or compromising passenger privacy.
A collapsing roof can endanger people, damage property and bring business operations to a standstill. The problem was that this risk was difficult to measure, while roofs were rarely insured. De Goudse needed a reliable way to assess that risk and make it visible enough to support insurance and prevention decisions.
To cut emissions, the Port of Rotterdam needs more electricity. The problem: the grid is already reaching capacity. We worked with the Port of Rotterdam to make that complexity visible through an interactive energy simulation, showing how different decarbonisation strategies would affect the system.
Wind turbines often operate in remote locations where maintenance is difficult. For an international energy supplier, we built an AI model that combines operational data to help engineers detect unusual behaviour earlier and plan maintenance more proactively.
Young adults often see pensions as something for much later. For a leading Dutch pension fund, we used PSD2 data and financial modelling to connect pension planning to major financial decisions that matter much earlier in life.
